For those of you who don't know me I'm just a regular guy currently living in Greeley, Colorado. I feel that God has called me to share music with people so that's what I'm doing!
My parents noticed that I liked hitting this toy plastic drum when I was a year old, so when they saw a cheap toy drum set on the shelf of an antique store they figured it would make a good Christmas present and they were right! I was four years old then and I've been playing ever since (though I did end up buying a real drum set when i was 12).
I didn't study privately until I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for my undergrad in music performance. At Eau Claire I had the honor of playing in the top ensembles and performing with great musicians on a regular basis including the downbeat award winning and nationally recognized UW-Eau Claire Jazz Ensemble 1.
Right now I'm studying at The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado and getting a masters degree in jazz studies. The faculty here are great, and there's a lot of great musicians to play with. I've been learning a ton to say the least, and have also gotten some great opportunities while here.
